"A liberal is never happier than when he can think that the person screwing him over politically is stupid."
That quote right there is from my man Michael Parenti, and will kick off our third lesson about Iraq which will focus on the question of 'why?'. As with most wars this one is purely economic at its core, although it is covered with an insulating layer of ideology. When it's all said and done, 20 years from now people might refer to 'pulling a Bush' to mean playing dumb when in fact your actually being quite cunning. For example, most people think the war in Iraq is a huge failure for the US. Well, for the average American that would be correct, but to the power elite who run this 'democracy' it would be false. A general misconception is that the goal of invading Iraq was to liberate their oil fields, not so. It wasn't the pedantic neo-cons who were so publicly jingoistic and did all the dirty work of lying and bribing to get the invasion rolling that really started this, the real culprit was big oil. And their goal was in fact to not retrieve the oil and ensure no one else could. Now lets use our brains here people. Say your a CEO of Exxon Mobile and you want to increase the price of your one product, oil, what do you do? Their answer was beautifully simple, use the US military to disturb the supply of oil and thus drive up prices and scare the crap out of any country that had ever thought of any economic alternative to going along with the oil cartels. A very closely guarded secret is that oil is an artificially scarce commodity, and that's the way the people who sell it like it. Capitalism has been embraced by every major country on earth and as a result the demand for oil is going higher and higher. Countries like China with booming economies need it like an addict needs his next fix. Now don't think that the people who invaded Iraq are trying to be patriotic by making things difficult for our potential rivals, they just want as much money out of their growth as they can get. So as most Americans piss and moan about the evils of the Bush Administration the fat cats get fatter. Meanwhile people all over the world are beginning to notice that the American definition of freedom is the freedom to be endlessly exploited by monolithic and entrenched corporations from overseas that are near impossible to resist because the US military is their pimp. And as Iraq brilliantly illustrates, this is one pimp you don't want coming after you for not paying its whores.

Sometimes your ramblings seem to anti-american and too bitter. You live in America, the government pays for some of your education, subsidizes your vegetables, and I know you have eaten the government cheese. Your like the dude in high school with a runny nose, big glasses, headgear, and a dsyfunctional penis that is complaining about the quarterback getting to bang the headcheerleader because he is such an asshole. The United States is that quarterback, and they are assholes to the internatinoal community, allies and adversaries, and they are banging every piece of ass they feel like. However, I offer this piece of advice, "dont hate the playa, hate the game." I have always said . . . "I dont write the rules, but I know how to play the game." Therefore, bitching does nothing, bitching by an angry Britain with a force of 12 allies against the U.S. is force, anything else is just annoyance. Furthermore, below is a quote from the late exellent Judge Burnet that may help explains the U.S. position:
(Conversation between a convicted felon and Judge Burnet). The convicted felon stated, For it is very hard my lord, to hang a poor man for stealing a horse. Judge Burnet replies, You are not to be hanged, sir, my ever honoured and beloved friend, for stealing a horse, but you are to be hanged so that horses may not be stolen."
The U.S. is not invading Iraq because Iraq did anything wrong or did something directly deserving of the massacre of the countries history, beliefs, and way of life. The U.S. is going to Iraq to send a message to S.Asia, Cuba, Iran, Russia, N.Korea, China, and everyone else in the world that its the United States way or the highway. They invade Iraq to deter future generations from trying to not listen to us. This is morally wrong, but dominantly correct. The stronger survive, and the U.S. is beating down everyone else with a stick and forcing submission. This makes sure we survive. Imagine killing the first mosquito nest, much easier than trying to control the billions of mosquitos today. That is how the U.S. sees this war, lets crush our opponents while they are weak, unorganized, and have there backs against the wall. I am against the war personally b/c it indirectly effects me through my taxes, social security, and kills decent people. However, if I was President, or had any stake in running this country, it would be a whole lot easier to check the world when you dominant it. Don't hate the player, hate the game. Remember, leaders don't write the rules, they just know how to play the game. Congress is the only entity that can check the President and they are the pussies for following. Vote different. Remember, those that don't play by the rules go to jail or are deported to Mexico.
209 seems to be a bit wise in my opinion, though I may not agree morally, who knows. I think these blogs do sound anti-american, and if the goal is to present factual information, well, it is more difficult to believe something when full of obvious opinion and disgust.
Hate the game, huh, well I do think that the players should be held for responsible if things ever do come into action. It is difficult for me to be proud of this county, so I can understand a reason for anger and bashing, but in the end, it will get you no further than those who would do the same to you.
P.s. So how's the dysfunctional penis working for ya?
